Information for Year 6 children moving to Walbottle in September

We have received confirmation of details for the Year 6 transition day to Walbottle Academy which will take place on Wednesday 8 July 2026.

Children should come to Lemington Riverside for 8:20am on the morning as they will be collected on a private coach that will take them to Walbottle at 8:30am.

Children should wear their Lemington Riverside uniform on the day. A free packed lunch will be provided for all children by Walbottle (or children can bring their own packed lunch if they prefer).

Children will be brought back to Lemington Riverside by private coach and should be collected from Lemington Riverside at 3:30pm from the usual location (or if they walk home alone, they will be dismissed as normal at 3:30pm from our school).
