Welcome to Lemington Riverside
Welcome to a primary school that dares to be different and celebrates its uniqueness…
We are Lemington Riverside Primary School – an inclusive, vibrant school at the heart of our community, overlooking the beautiful River Tyne. We welcome children from age 3 to 11 and are a one-form-entry school, meaning there is one class in each year group.
Our school is a magnificent Edwardian building, with spacious classrooms, break out spaces, libraries, ICT facilities, a sensory room and an exciting outdoor environment. We also have a community hub on site, providing additional activities, services and support to our children, families and the wider community.

What’s Happening...
A huge well done to our Lemington Heroes for the week ending 12 September 2025!
So many nominations for so many amazing reasons! One particular theme that stood out today was people being kind friends and looking after each other.
Congratulations to Mr. Jordan's Year 4 class who are our attendance champions this week with 97.7%!

This is why we do the job! School is not just about the academic side, it's about building strong, resilient and confident young people and residentials really help with that.
We were also delighted to receive feedback from a number of members of the public, as well as staff at Boggle Hole, commending on our children on their behaviour and manners during the visit.
I'd like to say a huge thank you to Mr. Murphy, Mr. Sayers, Mrs. Jamieson, Mrs. Wakenshaw and Mrs. O'Driscoll for taking the children to Boggle Hole. Being a member of staff on a residential is a huge commitment and in essence you're 'on duty' for 3 days without a break. We are lucky at our school to have staff members who really do go above and beyond for our children and we are very grateful for that.
On Tuesday evening we have our first meeting for the Year 6 France residential at 3:35pm. We invite year 6 parents/carers to join us then to find out more.
Have a lovely weekend.
