Welcome to a primary school that dares to be different and celebrates its uniqueness…
We are Lemington Riverside Primary School – an inclusive, vibrant school at the heart of our community, overlooking the beautiful River Tyne. We welcome children from age 3 to 11 and are a one-form-entry school, meaning there is one class in each year group.
Our school is a magnificent Edwardian building, with spacious classrooms, break out spaces, libraries, ICT facilities, a sensory room and an exciting outdoor environment. We also have a community hub on site, providing additional activities, services and support to our children, families and the wider community.

What’s Happening...
There was some amazing fancy dress, some fantastic maths challenges and competitions too!
This afternoon Lemington well and truly ROCKED when we enjoyed a live rock band gig in the hall! We hear that Nursery and Reception won the prize for best dancers!
Definitely some rock stars of the future at Lemington Riverside...

We're delighted to be working in collaboration with our local non-league football team Newcastle Blue Star F.C. who are based a short distance from Lemington.
We will be doing regular ticket 'give-aways' between now and the end of the season!
The next Newcastle Blue Star game is a home game against Easington Colliery on Tuesday 27 January, 7:30pm kick off at the KD Stadium in Scotswood (NE15 7BD)
