At Lemington Riverside Primary School, we are an inclusive and vibrant community at the heart of Lemington, overlooking the beautiful River Tyne. We cater for children aged 3 to 11 and are a one-form-entry school, with one class per year group, allowing us to build strong relationships and a close-knit school environment.
Our home is a striking Edwardian building, featuring bright, spacious classrooms, well-equipped libraries, ICT facilities, and inspiring outdoor spaces. In addition, our on-site community hub provides a wide range of activities, services, and support for pupils, families, and the wider community.

What’s Happening...
There are some superb suggestions and all of those will now be anonymously shared with our Lemington Riverside School Council who will discuss and then vote on their favourite name!
The winner will have a sign made for the bus with their chosen name on and will also have their own name on the sign too!

We've had a double celebration of great attendance today (Friday 12 June) with two lucky winners!
FEAST FRIDAY: Sofia B from Year 2 wins Feast Friday today! Sofia gets to choose a Dominos Pizza of her choice to share with two friends this lunch-time! Sofia was one of 205 children in school on time today and the lucky winner of the prize draw!
PUNCTUAL & PROUD: Lucas S from Year 4 wins our 'Punctual and Proud' £50 Amazon voucher prize today! Each term we have two secret punctual and proud days, all children in school on time on the secret days are entered into a draw to win a £50 Amazon voucher. Well done Lucas and enjoy creating your Amazon wishlist!
Remember, our brand new 'Attendance Streak' challenge begins on Monday (15th June) and runs through until Friday 26th June. Be in school, on time every day to be in the draw to win a great trip out on our new school mini bus!

On Friday 19th June, our Year 3 and 4 classes will be singing with hundreds of other children from schools across Newcastle at the 'Big Gig: Sounds of the Movies' at the Vertu Motors Arena on Scotswood Road (the arena where the Newcastle Eagles basketball team play).

Our Sports Days will take place on Thursday 9th July.
The Bridge, Nursery and Reception Sports Day will take place in school in the Early Years Garden in the MORNING. (Exact times TBC).
Years 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 Sports Day will take place at the Lemington Football Centre (West Denton Road, Lemington, NE15 7LQ) between 1:30-3pm.
Parents/carers are welcome to come and watch either event if your child is involved.
Parents/carers who attend the afternoon session will be able to take children home directly from the sports day.
