Welcome to Lemington Riverside
Welcome to a primary school that dares to be different and celebrates its uniqueness…
We are Lemington Riverside Primary School – an inclusive, vibrant school at the heart of our community, overlooking the beautiful River Tyne. We welcome children from age 3 to 11 and are a one-form-entry school, meaning there is one class in each year group.
Our school is a magnificent Edwardian building, with spacious classrooms, break out spaces, libraries, ICT facilities, a sensory room and an exciting outdoor environment. We also have a community hub on site, providing additional activities, services and support to our children, families and the wider community.

Lemington Riverside Primary School has been shortlisted for the Poverty Proofing® Awards in the category of Positive Impact.
This recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to ensuring that no child feels different, disadvantaged or excluded because of their family’s financial circumstances. We work hard to remove barriers, reduce stigma and make sure every child can fully access school life – from learning in the classroom to trips, clubs and wider opportunities.
Being shortlisted is a testament to the dedication of our staff, the openness and partnership of our families, and the resilience and brilliance of our children.
Thank you for continuing to work with us to make our school a place where every child belongs and can thrive. We are incredibly proud of this achievement. 15 Likes
