Lemington Riverside Primary School

Year 4 parent/child STEM club with NUFC Foundation

We are delighted to be working with Newcastle United Foundation this half term on an exciting Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) project with our Year 4 pupils.

As part of this partnership, we have been offered the opportunity to host a free after-school STEM Family Club for up to 10 Year 4 children and their parents or carers.

The club will be led by staff from Newcastle United Foundation and will provide families with the chance to learn together through a range of fun, practical and hands-on STEM activities. The sessions are designed to encourage curiosity, problem-solving, teamwork and creativity while giving parents and children quality time to learn side by side.

The club will take place in school from 3:30pm–4:15pm, in school, on the following Mondays:

• 15 June
• 22 June
• 29 June
• 6 July
• 13 July

Places are limited to 10 families. Families who register must be able to commit to attending all five sessions. If more than 10 families apply, places will be allocated through a random draw.

Year 4 parents and carers who would like to take part should return their completed registration form to school by 9:00am on Wednesday 10 June. A letter is being sent home to all year 4 parents/carers today.

We would like to thank Newcastle United Foundation for providing this fantastic opportunity and look forward to seeing our Year 4 families enjoying STEM together.
