Year 1 have a magical day in Alnwick!

Our Year 1 children had a truly unforgettable day yesterday as they enjoyed an exciting educational visit to Lilidorei and Alnwick Garden.

From the moment they arrived, the children embraced every opportunity to explore, discover and have fun. At Lilidorei, they immersed themselves in a magical world of adventure, climbing through imaginative play structures, solving challenges and letting their creativity flourish in one of the UK's largest play experiences. The enchanting village encouraged teamwork, problem-solving and active play, with plenty of opportunities for the children to use their imaginations.

The adventure continued at Alnwick Garden, where the children explored the beautiful grounds and spectacular attractions. From the impressive Grand Cascade water feature to the colourful gardens filled with seasonal blooms, there was so much to see and enjoy. The visit gave pupils the chance to appreciate nature, learn about plants and wildlife, and experience one of Northumberland's most celebrated visitor attractions.

We are incredibly proud of every single member of Year 1. Throughout the day, they demonstrated exemplary behaviour, impeccable manners and a positive attitude. Staff at both attractions took the time to comment on how wonderful our children were, and several members of the public also praised them for their politeness and respect.

The children were excellent ambassadors for our school, representing our values in everything they did. Their enthusiasm, kindness and willingness to listen made the day even more special, and they should all be extremely proud of themselves.

A huge thank you goes to our staff and volunteers who helped make the trip possible, ensuring that the children had such a memorable and enjoyable experience.

Well done, Year 1 – you were amazing!
