Looking ahead to World Book Day at Lemington Riverside – Thursday 5th March.
This year, we’re inviting children to ‘Go Wild about Reading!’ as we explore the classic tales of Aesop’s Fables and the important messages they share.
This year, we’re inviting children to ‘Go Wild about Reading!’ as we explore the classic tales of Aesop’s Fables and the important messages they share.Children are welcome to come to school dressed in:
• Comfy clothes perfect for curling up with a good book, or
• Animal prints and patterns to show their wild side!
Across the day, classes will enjoy a range of creative activities inspired by their chosen fable, including drama, storytelling, art, debates and more.
We’ll also be opening our special Reading Tent for children to enjoy!
Children will receive a book voucher that can be spent in a range of shops.
