NUFC Challenge Update!

Our NUFC autumn term reading challenge ends this Friday 13 December (tomorrow).
There has been a slight change of plan for the prize for the reading challenge winner - with the child (and now also their parent/carer!) receiving tickets to attend the League Cup Quarter Final game between Newcastle United and Brentford on Wednesday 18 December in hospitality! This will include a meal and drinks. An incredible prize!
It looks like we will have a number of children who have read every single day since the challenge began - all of these children's names will be placed in a draw and drawn out in front of the children on Friday to see who wins this amazing early Christmas present!
We also have an incredible prize for five children to enjoy a stadium tour of St. James' Park in early 2025. The winners of this prize will be the top 5 children who have earned the most 'Working Hard' green points in school this half term. The winners of this prize will be announced in our Lemington Heroes assembly on Thursday 19 December.
A huge thank you to Julie Smith at Newcastle United Academy who has made these incredible prizes and opportunities possible for our children at Lemington Riverside and the other eight schools within the West End School's Trust!
