Ford Castle Residential

Just one day to go until year 5 and 6 head off on their exciting residential adventure to Ford Castle.

We are delighted to be fully funding this residential for all of our year 5 and 6 children again this year meaning a fully inclusive trip for everybody with no financial barriers.

The coach will depart from Tyne View at 10:30am tomorrow (Wednesday) morning and parents/carers are very welcome to come and wave us off if they wish. Children should arrive for the usual time in the morning and drop their bags in the downstairs hall. Children do not need to wear school uniform tomorrow.

We will arrive back at school for approximately 3:15pm on Friday. Children will be dismissed directly from the coach, again on Tyne View, so we'd appreciate if parents/carers can collect from that location.

There is limited mobile coverage at Ford Castle, but we will try to post as many photos as we can to keep you up to date on our adventures.

A few children have asked if they can bring some sweets - this is fine but we ask just one bag per child. No spending money is needed as there is nowhere to spend it! Children should not bring any valuable items / electronic devices.

A final reminder that any medication forms needed to be in school yesterday so any outstanding forms MUST be returned today (Tuesday).
