What a fantastic start to the new school year - the children look so smart in their new school uniforms!

Our new breakfast club started today and it was great to see so many children there. A reminder that children must be booked in to the free breakfast club, you can't just turn up on the morning. Bookings can be made here > https://lemingtonriverside.newcastle.sch.uk/Free.../ .

Children should arrive between 8:15am-8:20am if they are attending free breakfast club at the double blue doors on the Rokeby Street side of the main building (not the main entrance).

A reminder also that we have new staggered pick-up times and locations for pick-up at home time as follows:

- Year 1 - 3:20pm from the MAIN ENTRANCE on Sugley Street.

- Year 2 - 3:20pm from the DOUBLE BLUE DOORS on the Rokeby Street side of the main building.

- Year 3 - 3:20pm from the DOUBLE BLUE DOORS on the Rokeby Street side of the main buidling.

- Year 4 - 3:30pm from the DOUBLE BLUE DOORS on the Rokeby Street side of the main building.

- Year 5 - 3:30pm from the MAIN ENTRANCE on Sugley Street.

- Year 6 - 3:30pm from the MAIN ENTRANCE on Sugley Street.

Children will be dismissed from the door, one at a time by their class teacher. This is to ensure safe dismissal of all children. Please be patient with staff and do not enter the ramp areas to ensure dismissal is as safe and efficient as possible.

Children in years 4, 5, 6 who walk home alone will be dismissed by the class teacher first, before other children are handed to collecting adults.

For children starting Nursery and Reception, remember we have a staggered return for these classes as our early years staff complete home visits for our new starter children this week.
