Welcome to a primary school that dares to be different and celebrates its uniqueness…
We are Lemington Riverside Primary School – an inclusive, vibrant school at the heart of our community, overlooking the beautiful River Tyne. We welcome children from age 3 to 11 and are a one-form-entry school, meaning there is one class in each year group.
Our school is a magnificent Edwardian building, with spacious classrooms, break out spaces, libraries, ICT facilities, a sensory room and an exciting outdoor environment. We also have a community hub on site, providing additional activities, services and support to our children, families and the wider community.

Get ready for a flavour-packed fiesta in our school dining hall on Thursday 2 October! 🌯🌽🥑
Children who normally enjoy school meals will be automatically included.
👉 If your child doesn’t usually have a school meal but would love to join the fiesta, please contact the school office to place an order!

Safetyworks is an interactive safety education centre, where children can explore realistic, hands-on scenarios to learn about staying safe at home, in the community and online. It’s a fantastic opportunity for our pupils to build important life skills in a fun and engaging way.
