The LRPS Experience

Our school sits in a unique position on the banks of the mighty River Tyne in the world-famous city of Newcastle upon Tyne. We are located just a few miles away from the stunning coastline of the north-east and the wild and rugged beauty of the Northumberland countryside.

We believe that school should not just be about strong academic progress for our children, but also developing our children in to well-rounded and confident young people who are ready to thrive at high school and beyond into their adult lives.

Our unique ‘Lemington Riverside Experience’ outlines what every child at our school can expect to experience as they traverse through our school. Children will experience rich cultural activities and visits, develop pride in representing our school and community and discover their own interests and passions.

We are also proud that all of these experiences are fully funded by our school at no financial cost to any of our families.
