Family Support & Signposting

Our in-school team:

From time to time we all need a little extra support with things. At Lemington Riverside we pride ourselves as not only being a place of education, but also a hub for our families.

We have a dedicated and experienced family support team here at Lemington Riverside who are able to support our families in many different ways. 

If we are unable to support directly with an issue, we can signpost you towards other people or organisations who can help. 

Kim Cole and Emma McCartney are our dedicated attendance and welfare staff in school. During the school day, Kim works 8:30am - 2:30pm every day and Emma works 10:00am - 4:00pm every day. Kim is always around on the doors at the start of the day and Emma at home time.

Charlton Street Community Hub:

On our school site we also have the Charlton Street Community Hub which is ran separately to the school by Action for Children and Children & Families Newcastle. 

The Hub offers a wide range of services for children and families within our community. 

Food Bank support:

We are able to provide vouchers for local food banks. If this is something you require further support with, please do speak with Kim and Emma in absolute confidence.
