If your child is currently in year 6 (Mr. Sayers' class) it is now time to be considering your choice of high school for year 7.

We strongly encourage parents/carers to visit each school you are considering before you make your application.

Applications must be made through Newcastle City Council and the deadline for applications is 31 October 2024. You can apply online by clicking here. 

If you'd rather complete a paper form, you can request one from the school office.

It is really important that your application is in on-time - late applications mean it is unlikely you will receive your first choice of school.

We are also pleased to confirm that we have arranged for somebody from the Newcastle City Council admissions team to come in to Lemington Riverside on the morning of Friday 18 October between 8:45-9:15am in the school dining hall to support any parents/carers with their applications if you need support or guidance.

A reminder that there is an open evening at Walbottle Academy on (Wednesday 25 September) between 4-6pm.
